This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight


Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move through portions of
eastern Nebraska and western Iowa this morning. These storms will
pose a low-end wind risk. This afternoon, isolated strong to
severe thunderstorms may develop across southeast Nebraska with a
threat for large hail and damaging winds, particularly after 4
PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday


Several rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible
through Tuesday afternoon. The greatest threat at this time
appears to be large hail, some of which could be greater than 2
inches in diameter. Severe wind gusts, tornadoes and flash
flooding will all be possible as well. We`ll have additional
chances for thunderstorms beginning Thursday afternoon and heading
into next weekend.

Southwestern Lancaster County in southeastern Nebraska...
Northeastern Jefferson County in southeastern Nebraska...
Eastern Saline County in southeastern Nebraska...
Northwestern Gage County in southeastern Nebraska...

* Until 630 AM CDT.

* At 554 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles west of
Wilber, or 20 miles northwest of Beatrice, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
Crete, Wilber, De Witt, Cortland, Plymouth, Western, Clatonia,
Hallam, Sprague, Swanton, The Highway 41 and 15 South Junction,
Swan Creek Wildlife Management Area, Walnut Creek Recreation Area,
Olive Creek State Recreation Area, and Bluestem State Recreation
Area.
